MrQ refuse £1400 payout

So I created an account last week and deposited £100, had a big win of £1400 which I withdrew only to recently get an email stating

Disgusted is an understatement, I didn't even realise I had another account and they were quite happy to let me deposit and probably keep depositing had i not won the £1400.

Do I just write this off as a hard lesson learned or is there anything I can do?

it seems fair enough , if the other account is the same name , same bank account etc then theres not much they can do , did you get a new player deposit with your £100 deposit ?

I think you probably dont have a case - but I would always advise anyone to open a case at Casino guru. They are great.

Yeah I've opened a case, not expecting much but shall see what happens.

They should change their name to Mr C. I feel for you my friend, damn unfair. My advice here ajways has and always will be, stick with the big High Street names when betting on line.

Thanks, damn shame too right before christmas I was on a high. I hate gambling sometimes 😒

Thats disgusting.... I make a point of avoiding anywhere that has dodgy practices like that. As you say, they are happy to take your losses.... its only when you win they have a problem 🤬

Unfortunately they're all the same ,happy to take your money but will try anything to avoid paying you if you win ,being a gambler is hard enough but I still get nervous if I make a withdrawal, thinking they'll find something to prevent paying out!

They should never have let you open another account if you already had one with them ,I'd say the error is theirs ..but I'm often wrong.

I've found Mr Green to be the most trustworthy ,more or less instant withdrawal in to your bank ...

Never mind online refusing or making it difficult to take money out, high street arcades would do the same thing.  Recently was playing in another town's arcade (I used to work locally).  Initially was losing 300, then the machine went on a run and gave 2 jackpots within £50.  Played a bit more and collect a balance of £900.  I thought initially was going to be ticket payout, but it was paying out cash, but the note machine malfunctions, so had to get a member of "staff" to take a look.  To cut a long story short, the "staff" got the owner out, who refused to believe the balance of £900, then took ages, I mean a LONG time to start looking at the machine to see what was wrong.  In between, keep asking me questions, says he hasn't seen me before, how long was I in the arcade (even though when I went in, he was next to where I was playing fixing a note machine), a fobt doesn't go on a run (he says it's an unusual behavior to pay jackpot so close together), where I was from, (I answered him with some sarcastic answers like when I was losing £1500 on rocky 2 a couple years ago, I didn't ask him to check %, I told him aren't the machine's random, to which he replies they are.  In the end I told him called the police, check your CCTV etc to which he reluctantly payed me after when he opened up the machine to check the payout balance due.  Remember the unscrupulous operators doesn't only operate online.

Gambling commission straight away.  You have a case; they cannot have it both ways.  If they had rejected a deposit that's different but they haven"t.  Agree with other comment stick with the well known brands and give these new outfits at least a year.  Any reports of any bad practice ditch em

Not wanting to be downbeat but I don’t think you have a case here.

The T&C posted above are pretty clear, if you have a duplicate account it will be closed and any winnings void.

To make it worse they only “reserve the right” to do so which basically means had you lost £1400 they’d have been quite happy to leave the account open.

They are having their cake and eating it here and all the have to say is “please, read the small print.”

Feel really sorry for you here, hard enough to get a lift without it being taken off you like this.

@Mentholdan is correct that ppl should stick to the “big names” as while they’re not charities they generally play a little fairer and go out their way to avoid bad publicity.
