MrQ refuse £1400 payout

I've got to say I joined MrQ from one of the affiliate links and its by far the worst experience I have had when playing online.

I fully validated my account, which wasn't the easiest process, but once done made a deposit and started playing.  Had a little win and decided to withdraw it to test withdrawal times. I requested it on Saturday and on Tuesday I received conformation that my withdrawal was being processed (4 days). In the email they advised me not to contact them until 7 working days after the confirmation if I hadn't received my funds (so that will be almost 2 weeks in real terms). The money hasn't hit my account yet, as i use starling bank every other site I have ever played at I receive the withdrawal within 24 hours or at least conformation from the bank the money has been posted.

I don't think I'll ever be back on this site, I just hope I eventually get my money!

I know MrQ well, they’re one of the online casinos I’ve dealt with at work.

Perhaps a silly question but it may speed it along, do you make deposits using your card details or via Apple/Google Pay?

Card details, the exact same card I use to deposit at coral and other casinos with no issue. Generally the turn around is 2 working days. I don't think MrQ accept apple pay or Google pay. Unfortunately only after my deposit I read that a lot of users have been having issues with withdrawals from MrQ in recent weeks.

I found it strange they don't process any withdrawal requests at the weekend and even then its 2 working days for them to do it.

I've been in contact with my bank who confirm nothing has been posted/pending. Advice is to wait 10 days and request the ARN number from Mr Q and raise a dispute.

I hope it doesn't come to that, but it looks like the withdrawal times are longer in 2022 than I had from my stanleybet account in 2005.

The acquirer reference number (ARN) would be handy if they’d processed the credit, but if they haven’t then there won’t be one. There will be ARNs for the deposits, but it sounds like your bank might be getting confused about the process with online casinos. The 10 working days wait is a stipulation for raising a ‘credit not processed’ chargeback. This is usually used when you pay for something and, for whatever reason, it falls through and you’re promised a refund which never materialises. However as your withdrawals are more than deposits, this will probably work against you. If you deposited £100 and tried to withdraw £1000, then you can only claim back the £100. And MrQ will probably completely freeze your account.

I’ve never actually used MrQ, is there a section for pending withdrawals and is it still sitting there?

Never mind online refusing or making it difficult to take money out, high street arcades would do the same thing.  Recently was playing in another town's arcade (I used to work locally).  Initially was losing 300, then the machine went on a run and gave 2 jackpots within £50.  Played a bit more and collect a balance of £900.  I thought initially was going to be ticket payout, but it was paying out cash, but the note machine malfunctions, so had to get a member of "staff" to take a look.  To cut a long story short, the "staff" got the owner out, who refused to believe the balance of £900, then took ages, I mean a LONG time to start looking at the machine to see what was wrong.  In between, keep asking me questions, says he hasn't seen me before, how long was I in the arcade (even though when I went in, he was next to where I was playing fixing a note machine), a fobt doesn't go on a run (he says it's an unusual behavior to pay jackpot so close together), where I was from, (I answered him with some sarcastic answers like when I was losing £1500 on rocky 2 a couple years ago, I didn't ask him to check %, I told him aren't the machine's random, to which he replies they are.  In the end I told him called the police, check your CCTV etc to which he reluctantly payed me after when he opened up the machine to check the payout balance due.  Remember the unscrupulous operators doesn't only operate online.

I’ve had this before! A couple of times. Not exactly the same but similar. One time were notes were short so went to coming pay then they tried to pay me £80 less than I was owed. Took them about an hour to go through the audit and see I wasn’t lying. Then they acted as if I was still wrong!

BS about double jackpots not happening too. I’ve had a least a dozen double jackpots and 2 triple jackpots on the same terminals.

anything to doubt or not pay!!!

Not that I  can see I only play via mobile, but there's not a pending withdrawal section. It just denotes deposits and withdrawals.

I'll give it a few more days, (well until monday) before raising it again with MrQ,  it's just a bit slow as everywhere else I've played/bet online has a really quick  turnaround with withdrawals. A full week at MrQ to get a withdrawal seems pretty backward.

I finally got my payout, took 9 calander days! I've closed down my MrQ and won't be back. Main thing is the money is in my account.

I had the same with Casinojoy. They really struggled with Apple Pay. Deposits are fine, withdrawals kept rejecting (it even gives you a notification on your phone when this happens). The money didn’t appear on my balance again either. Chased them, chased them again, chased them again, they eventually relented and put the money back on my balance and told me to do exactly the same and withdraw the money. Obviously, the same thing happened. Sent screenshots, they said they won’t do anything unless I send bank statements saying the money hadn’t been deposited, which I’m never comfortable sending over because:-

1. It has information they don’t need to know about, such as my onlyfans subscriptions (ok, maybe not that, but they don’t need to know I bought 4 pints on Weds that week or my monthly salary)

2. It doesn’t help in the slightest. They can’t link the bank account to the card. All it will show is an account didn’t get the withdrawals.

I know how these processes work, they should reconcile their suspense accounts and they can also check the fate of the transactions on MCom or VRol in a couple of seconds. They refused, I’m £110 out of pocket. If I weren’t so stubborn and I’d sent the bank statements over it may have been resolved, so maybe I’m partly to blame. But sending confidential and irrelevant information over doesn’t sit well with me when they can check the withdrawals in a few seconds. Ended up in stalemate. And now they’ve closed down their UK presence.
