Battered In Skegness

I thought only fish got battered at the seaside but not yesterday in Skegvegas...

Made the 100 mile round trip for a bit of RnR after a busy week to unwind with a few slots.

Started off great winning on a lot of games flipping from one to another in a sort of personal bonus challenge (get a bonus and then move to a new game)

At the peak of play I was about £450 up and with only 30 min left on the car park ticket I decided to try what I deem an ultra volitile slot as my final challenge.

Anyway to cut to the chase I left 30 minutes later to get the car with my £450 winnings gone + another £500 from my pocket and still didn't get the bonus...

What was the name of this offending game.... "Rainbow Riches Super Gems"  Not only did I not get a bonus but no "Super Gem" turned up either.

But like I said to the Mrs when we got back to the car 5 minutes late.... it could have been worse... we might have got a ticket.

not to put a dampener on things but you dont need a ticket on your 

windscreen to get a parking fine these days trust me, and the other little trick they use is sending out the notification AFTER the early payment discount time has lapsed.

As for your £950 pants down arse spanking, I feel for you. I only hope you can take comfort in knowing "been there, done that , and got the T shirt. 

ive said this many a time before, unless youve had to walk home from the casino in the pissing rain, skint, at 3am in the morning, you cant really call yourself a gambler.

Back in my younger days, I used to spend a good few hours in the arcades on Southend seafront. The features and games were more interactive and it was a lot more fun, that seemed to cushion the blow of an almost inevitable (but not usually big) loss.

Nowadays, the longer you stay watching a game animate to itself, the more likely you are to lose. I remember I went to Leisure Exchange arcade on Houndsditch one lunchtime and my first spin at £5 was jackpot. I walked away with £495 profit in about 30 seconds. Oddly enough, I felt almost cheated though. I’d won, but knew it was time to stop. What was I going to do on my lunch break now? Thankfully there was O’Neill’s, Barracuda, Slug And Lettuce or Dukes within about a 50 yard radius. *hic*

Not sure I have the bottle to enter that place these days... No it was off to the View in Winthorpe lunch... Mrs had to pay though  lol

Waxed £240 today in Ladbroke absolute pants as was up the day before. Monty’s millions paying a £9 feature on £1 stake I knew it wasn’t my day!!

Here's the pic I took especially for you, this is the way I drove everyorning for ten days, it even tells you to turn right on the road. It was only on the afternoon of the 10th day when I was leaving that I saw this post had been erected and no cars could pass through. So this post was concreted in between 8am and 3pm on the Friday, it, was from the following Monday and every day for 10 days after that the fines started arriving. My argument is, if they didn't want cars coming in then why didn't they just put the post there in the first place.???
