Hey guys,

I´m new in the casino world and I´m a bit overwhelmed.. How do you chose which online casino to plat at? They are so many and for all of them there´s positive as well as negative comments.

I would appreciate some online casino recommendations!

Cheers!

My advice would be none of them, if your new to it as you say then give it a wide berth and save your money. If however youre sure you want to create an account then use one of the big mainstream established big name bookies. Coral, Hills, Betfred, Paddy Power, Ladbrokes, Betfair. I have an account with all of them, why put all your eggs in one basket? Also, after a while of trying each of them you might find you're happier with one in particular. If a casino name is obscure or you've never heard of them, give them a miss.

Echo Mentholdan's comment... wide berth to them all the joining process is easy but the experience becomes so intrusive as time goes on especially if you try to cash out. However, If you really want to have the Casino experience go to a local bricks and mortar one.

Same advice from me, if you must try stick to mainstream such as Bet365, Boylesports, Corals would be my suggestions. Hills, Betfred, Paddy Power & Betfair are probably fine, I've just not tried them. Best advice is give them all a wide birth, they are incredibly addictive and you will lose.

Many of the online casino's have awful restrictive bonus requirements so best not to take them up and painful KYC & Identity verification that soon crops up if you are lucky enough to win and want to withdraw.

I had a spell of online play 2006-8 when the bonuses were much fairer. I was shocked how quickly I got into the habit of depositing 3x £100 or more in one session. My wake up and smell the coffee moment was when I won 6k at Intercasino and they only credited back to my bank about 5.5k which was how much I had lost in about 12 months. Something to do with money laundering, the remainder was sent by cheque. I honestly thought I had lost no more than 2k with them.

The final straw was 888 casino where I won about 1k from initial bonus and after playing through bonus requirement, they withheld winning and refunded initial deposit and accused me of bonus abuse because I had played roulette.

Congrats StepandStop, completing first year is a fine achievement. I wish I had such willpower as although I enjoy gambling, I do regret wasting money on gambling tbh, when I see how some of my family struggle to make ends meet.

Research your different options well and decide on what would be interesting for you.

I totally agree with @Mentholdan not to put all your eggs in one basket. There are various sites that compare different online casinos and provide you with different bonuses.

Cheers!
