Watching The Bandit

Recommended Posts

When I watch the Bandit videos I feel like I'm going through the mill with him. You could tell from his voice as the video went on that he was resigned to taking a big hit this week and you could also tell it was hurting and taking its toll. I think demoralised would be the appropriate word. At the end of the video he said, and I quote "what the fuck" part of me was thinking, and I'm sure he won't mind me saying, more like what's the point.? after all that.  He certainly takes you on a roller-coaster and this week is definitely worth a watch.

Talking of quotes, the best one I heard this week was from Alvin from Chipmonkz slots, he said, "I'm not the kind of person you think I am" errr, yes I think you are actually. This was not a slot stream, just a random video to tell people why he hasn't streamed for a while and that he doesn't stream to make money but because he enjoys it and he also mentioned that his streams and videos more than any other warn people about the dangers of gambling. Can't wait to see you back Chip, I could do with a good laugh.

I was watching his video and think how badly addicted he is. Going to be a big hot for him if/when he can't cream new leads for his affiliate money.

I’ve watched a few Bandit videos recently and they terrify me. I have nothing against the guy, he actually seems a nice bloke, but I don’t want to see anyone lose tens of thousands of pounds. However that may say more about me than anything else, I used to get pissed off if I lost £40! 😆

£90k in at one point constantly trying to top the tower on real king. £16k on a coin flip is madness. Cheeky sod has responsible gambling notices on his videos!

I don't think he needs to put up responsible gambling banners, just watching him is enough to put anyone off 😁

He must be very wealthy iin his own right or affiliation is an extremely lucrative business.

During the video he mentioned that he bought a bottle of mens deodorant for £300 or more and that he would not be doing a video next week as he was off on a five day golfing holiday, that doesn't sound like someone who's short of a few quid to me. When alls said and done, I enjoy his videos.

Couldn't agree more with a lot that has been said... The guy takes you on an emotional rollercoster that hi-lights all the reason you should not chase losses. That said he plays for his entertainment not the subscribers and like him or loath him the one thing you cannot escape is he produces compelling footage.

He is quite a character and interesting to watch and tend to agree with most of what has been said. That video was a master class in how quickly gambling can spiral out of control;  we've all been there at whatever stakes we play. He was very lucky to recover for 90k down. I am getting a bit sceptical as to how selective the videos being served up are. There have been quite a lot of Reel King top gamble "saves".

TBH, the Reel King segments with slot base/bonus games are as boring as feck. It is interesting the way randomness comes into play. i.e. loss after loss on the gamble ladder and then two tops so quickly, reminds me when I was playing Dolphin King about 10 years ago @ £20 a spin and got two rapid jackpots in two spins.

My own experiences have been that proportionally I get better wins on lower stakes. I used to play higher stakes and normally got rinsed, the big wins mostly coming after big losses.

My understanding is 20k hits on You Tube will bring in somewhere in the order of £100. So I guess with the back video catalogue it can mount up. No idea how much affiliation brings in, but I suppose he might be getting 10% of subscribers in his affiliation list.

His videos are very entertaining but the guy has a serious gambling problem. He’s on a decent run at the moment but there have been many videos where he has lost tens of thousands of pounds. He tried setting up a more normal stakes YouTube channel and after a few days Of 50p stakes he was back to betting huge sums.

He also constantly complains about how he is bored of gambling (but still does).

I feel sorry for him as he’s obviously a great lad but at some point in the future he will go too far and lose more than he can afford to.

Sounds high to me. YT ad revenues are per impression but not every view would trigger an impression. He might get better ad revenue if it was all relevant products/services like casinos but he won't want that as it will be their affiliate link not his so detrimental to his other revenue stream.

Affiliate is good with big numbers. It's 30 percent of the profit of the sign ups losses, not 30% of the deposits. Things like the % per spin that feeds jackpots will be taken out. Costs for lice sing the theme of the game from the rights holders will be taken out etc.
