Double zero - Bookies Slots and Roulette - Stop and Step

Double zero

Recommended Posts

I just nipped into hills to pop on my football bet and noticed people playing double zero roulette. I thought "that's a wierd choice".

Anyway I thought I'd have a dabble on a terminal and notice they only seem to have double zero roulette now. Another way to up their percentage by 3% I guess.

In Vegas they have triple zero, and people still play it! Many years ago I went from Essex to Holland on a ferry and they had a mini casino where they were paying 30/1 for a straight-up..People were still playing it!

Triple zero roulette was introduced to Vegas three years ago at the Venetian hotel, where it was called “Sands Roulette.” It has since expanded to other casinos on the strip. I know Darren has footage of it from a prior Vegas trip.

As for the 30/1 on the ferry, that is a consequence of no competition to offer better odds to players.

Unless my math is wrong, I calculated the RTP of 30/1 to be only 83.8% (assuming single zero), which is horrible! I guess some people don’t have the patience to wait until they arrive in Holland so that they can walk into a proper casino.

I played similar odds in Dublin in the downstairs of a bar but only because I would have been the only punter in the titty bar upstairs
