Never brought any stocks and shares in my life not really sure how it works it’s just LADBROKES shares are trading at about £1.30 a share from a high of £1.60

does anyone think they will rise over the year as shops begin to open

Can money be made in the long run ?

William Hill are probably a better bet, they are having a little rally at the moment as things start opening up again and sports resume. If you buy UK shares you'll pay a fee, usually around £12 for each trade depending on the company you use. I'd recommend Hargreaves Landsdown, but there's many others. So that would be £12 to buy, then £12 to sell, whenever that may be.
Gambling stocks are a bit risky because the laws tighten up all of the time, but I think they will rise for the short-term at least.

I’ve been selling face masks with built in harmonicas.

Better than ones with nose and mouth holes so you can breath easier!
