Slots are finished

With the new lower rtp in place low stake slot play is all but a thing of the past. Over the last few weeks I’ve been playing favourites like Fishing Frenzy and Eye of Horus on a 20p stake and pay outs from bonuses are abysmal. Before the changes a bonus on these games at 20p stake could pay £20-£30-£40 but now they’re anything from 80p - £2.60. They are now beyond a joke.

PP has gone down in my estimation recently, reduced the RTP on loads of games but what really got me was this….

Had a spin on their daily bonus wheel this morning and hit the free spins. Now it always used to be 5 or 10, but today it gave me 2. At 10p stake.

I always check the RTP of the new games that come on board, and most are sub 95% and I tend not to bother with them. Still play some older ones from time to time, BTG has some good games which tend to be 96%+.

I don’t understand @Mentholdan -Darren made nearly a grand profit on his bonus hunt yesterday…… slots can pay out - it may be lower odds but it is still random!

I do understand In all honestly. The volatility is massive now and betting firms are playing on peoples fun/addictions. They call it gaming, but it’s not a game as a game denotes the need for some sort of skill to win.  I have never played slots, only watched people in the pub and on ferries for years, and in recent times on YouTube. Nothing I see these days even has the remotest chance of getting me started!

Darren’s not playing 20p a spin is he, his minimum bet is normally £2 or more. I’m saying people who play slots for fun on small stake, well basically the fun has gone out the window for those people.

It’s all relateable, no good getting a bonus and winning 80p when petrol is £2 a litre, it wouldn’t get you to the street corner. £2.50 for a latte £6 for a pint of beer .

The question we should be asking is, if the rtp is so low now where is that money going?

same game, same companies, same software.???
If you don’t mind the poor rtp then most people would be better off just playing the most volatile slot games, imho.

I've noticed a down turn on the fobt's in the past few weeks whereas I've been winning on my old faithful slots and losing on anything else. I was enjoying the Big Fishing fortune slot in Betfred, but it has gone to shyte since it lost it's "new" status and has absolutely rinsed me in recent weeks. Now very hard to bonus and when it does returns are rubbish.

Virtually all the new slots are lower RTP's and even a % or two reduction makes a huge difference over time, so all things considered it seems like a very good time to knock bookie fobt's on the head. It's been about four years since I gambled in any online casino and soon forgot about them, so it can be done.

With Royal Ascot coming up, I'm going to concentrate on horse racing as at least there is an element of skill involved and it is just good fun. Playing slots just sucks the life out of me.

A 50p bonus in Horus, no win, went on Big Bass original and got the bonus and fisherman never showed once, paid £4.

Got the bonus on Fishing Frenzy on max stake of £8, paid £0.

Bent.

I'm not liking slots anymore, especially if the bonuses are predetermined, I'm glad that they put in the feature to show how much you've won or loss, as without that I wouldn't have relized that they are rigged, surely with a bit of tinkering they can change it so that any profit isn't shown until the bonus is completed
