Streaming on Twitch in the UK is effectively been outlawed by the UKGC from the 1st of October. This is due to Twitch not having an 18+ age-gate, meaning any account can look at 18+ content. YouTube accounts allow users to verify their age, thus blocking younger users from seeing content made for adults. A more in-depth article is here:

What do you think? Will streamers just move abroad?

I don’t think I’ve ever verified my age on YouTube, I think I might have added a DOB on the email address I have associated with it but there’s been no checks.

As I said in a previous topic on this, it does seem very strange that children can go to their seafront arcade and play fruit machines but watching them online is banned!

How much will this be regulated though? What about streamers who use VPNs anyway? There are streamers based in the U.K that promote shady crypto gambling sites, hopefully these will be targeted too as they're the biggest problem in my opinion
