Just used gamstop

Hi all I’ve just registered on gamstop with a 5 year ban does anybody know how it works does it know all the sites I use to gamble or do I have to add them all myself I need to stop before my wife leaves me it’s only the odd £20 or £50 here and there but never win and now I’m betting my phone bill money or the credit card payment so need to stop bigtime

Yup I am registered although I still have one major site that lets me play but I have their casino section self excluded so can only use sports and poker.

I have found Gamstop to work in that any accounts you open will either be blocked at application stage or within an hour or so. 

Also it’s just not worth it as if you win they will confiscate the winnings and just give you the deposit back and only the deposit you won from and if you lose before they block your account well that’s just tough titty as far as they’re concerned and they’ll keep the losing deposits.

only play bricks and mortar now although sometimes when I do I hit it hard, way too hard if I’m honest but online you can do your absolute cobblers in the blink of an eye.

The only way around it is to register with sites not regulated by the gambling Commission and you really, really don’t want to do that as you’re just begging to be ripped off.
