I’m not one for losing my cool but today’s sun newspaper page 52 as left me with steam coming out my ears 

this is just a proposal, somebody wants the champions league football to involve 4 groups of 8 teams instead of the usual 8 groups of 4

this coupled with 2 legged last 16 ties, quarter finals semi finals and the final

A STAGGERING 21 GAMES TO WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

with 38 games in the premiership and also the FA cup and league cup this could amount up to 70 games 

luckily our premiership teams are against this proposal

When Fulham made it to the Europa League final 10+ years ago, they had to play 19 games to get there and I thought that was bad....

Sad thing is that extra European games will mean the top clubs devalue the FA Cup even more and it’ll turn into the new League Cup.
