I’ve not heard about this one. But there’s a trend towards moving towards a cashless society, and even a centralised digital currency, that concerns me.

I don’t like getting political, but having a government or bank that can restrict your access to any money whatsoever is pretty dystopian. And it’s not a conspiracist’s fever dream, this has happened already, most notably in Canada.
