Novibet Ceases UK Operations with Immediate Effect

Novibet, which is a Greek gaming operator that has been operating in the UK for eight years, announced earlier this week that it is leaving the UK market, effectively immediately. The company has also apparently surrendered its UK license. The operator also announced that players who have unused funds should withdraw them.

The UKGC confirmed that the company is leaving the UK market and added that they expect Novibet to follow the good practices related to ceasing operations and use all possible ways to communicate to provide their customers with clear instructions on how to withdraw their unused funds.

According to the company, players can get in touch with customer support and ask for assistance.

I imagine that at least part of the reason why they’re leaving is the reform in the gambling laws in the UK that has been going on for a while now.

Yeah I had an email from them about a week ago stating they were leaving UK. I joined about a year ago but I never used it much so no great loss
