El Salvador to Launch the First NFT-Based Online Crypto Casino

The El Salvador government is making some interesting moves as part of their embracing of cryptocurrencies. Recently a tech company called Astro Babies announced that they intend to build a metaverse casino in collaboration with the El Salvadorian government. They clarified that the casino would have both a land-based and an online branch, it will run on the Solana blockchain and the guests would be able to buy and sell NFTs. So far, however, the size of the investment is unclear, as is the alleged opening date. No one knows how much the El Salvadorian government has invested in this endeavor, although I suspect it is likely not a small sum, what with their determination to embrace everything crypto-related.
