Due to data protection, how can they possibly know you used different details with them AND gamstop ?

Now.... worse. How can they then know that and STILL know you are one and the same person to then discuss it with you, the same person, otherwise they would be breaking data protection law and STILL act as if you are not the same person ?

Gamstop can only match what they can match. Casino can only match what they can match. They can talk to each other. They can talk to you. But they cannot have a three way conversation about 4 possible people, without expressed permission from all 3 or in this case 4 people.

This is all assuming they are really stating that you are NOT the same person. They cannot discuss your account with me.

Hi just seeing if there has been any update with this as I have had the same issue and am going through the process of a chargeback/dispute. Could do with help myself or advice on what to do next.

If you’ve raised the chargeback, then there’s nothing to do but wait. The casino will have 30/45 days to respond depending if it’s Visa or Mastercard. If they don’t come back in that time, the money’s yours 👍

Hi mate,

 

thank for your response I have started the chargeback now through the bank, I was open and honest told em what happened. I deposited money won more then I deposited tried to withdraw and they closed my account down.  Bank did a service not received option but then changed it to binary trading dispute do you know much about them as not much info online about this. Any help would be appreciated mate.

Sorry also casino have refused so now going through the 3rd party merchant as they have taken my money not the actual casino

Ok, unless I’ve misunderstood, it sounds like you deposited via PayPal or someone similar - the problem with that is that the chargeback would be raised against them. And, although the casino has screwed you over, you purchased a money transfer service and PayPal can demonstrate that it’s delivered that service and the original chargeback attestation will also state this.

The reason I think I may have misunderstood is that your bank seems to have raised a pre-arbitration and changed the reason code from 13.1 (goods/services not received) to 13.5 (misrepresentation) which could only be against the casino. For this, you would need to demonstrate the casino’s withdrawal T&C which should be quite straight forward, and also the amount in your account at the time. You can only claim back the transaction amount and not the winnings - the reason for the screenshot of your balance is to demonstrate that the amount in your bookies account is equal to or greater than your original payment (which isn’t great, but better than nothing).
