Watched a Ladbrokes FOBT take almost £2000 without a feature on Eye of Horus and Black Night, the 2 people that chased their losses were in a state of shock. The cashier could

not care less. Never once saying enough is enough. Even a mechanic came in to fix one next to it and said they are on 94%.  This will probably get removed but why is this stop

and step character still promoting this evil disease called FOBT's, they are even worse since the reduction to £2 spins. Clearly he must be aware of the damage he is causing with

his videos???

Yes mate they are hideous machines but 2k is just madness were they expecting 4 jackpots to land to draw level?I myself regularly suffer from tilt but u just know when it wont pay .as regards the staff member it's easy to say they could refuse but they don't earn enough to care I'm afraid not their jobs to potentially get aggro thrown at them

The clue to how much money they still make is it was Sunday evening 7pm. She called out a fault on machine 3 and within 30 mins a guy was there to fix it. Imagine that kind of service when your boiler breaks down or your internet goes to pop.

There is just no way these are on 94%. When I play them now and again they eat my money. Sorry mr stop and step but you must be heavily editing your video's because when I watch

people play them nobody has your kind of luck and I know you lose from time to time. Are you really paid by the bookies to promote them ? I could do do that if so, I could not sleep at night being a gambling affiliate especially one like Nickslots who seems to arrogantly get enjoyment from getting people hooked to online slots with all those brainwashing big video's. Have you seen his comment section on his video's, all bad or negative comments are blocked instantly. I think that is disgusting.

Why would I remove this comment? Although you clearly don't watch the videos, or you just focus on the winning ones I don't mind answering your comment. The last 5 bookie videos were 3 losses and 2 wins, why would I heavily edit them? Do you seriously think I record 100's of videos until I get a bonus or video that backs up your thinking? I assume you are also referring to today's winning video which was in an arcade, not a bookies.

I think the clue to how much money they make is that 900 William Hill's have shut and several hundred Ladbrokes and Coral will be shutting over the next few months when their leases on the properties are up. So I assume they don't make much money any more.

Putting £2000 into Eye of Horus says more about the people playing it than any restrictions. You must have been sat watching them for a very long time? How do you know what time she phoned an engineer?

I believe in being able to do whatever you want to do and when you want to do it, as long as its within the law. I also believe in being able to say what you want as long as its not slander.

So if a couple of guys want to gamble 2k on a slot machine that's entirely up to them. Either one of them could have said to the other let's stop or take a break, it's not like it was just one guy with a gambling problem playing on his own. Did you not think to say anything to them about maybe having a break for 5 minutes to think about what they were doing?

As for Mr StopandStep, I have never heard him verbally advertise any bookmaking company or on line casino, only announcing the the establishment he is at when the video starts.

As for Nickslots,  I thoroughly agree with you that he is arrogant, I might also add that he is the most big headed, opinionated, narcissistic, foul mouthed, horrible person ever to stream on Twitch, I would say to his face or to him but as you say he deletes any negative messages and "bans people?" I don't know how the hell he can ban someone from watching his stream? Ban them from commenting yes, but watching, no way.

One other thing, your wrong about StopandStep only posting winning videos, and do you know why most people wartch the videos and streamers? TO SEE THEM LOSE.

Stopandstep and Nickslots are chalk and cheese.

Finally, I cannot for the life of me imagine that watching streamers losing their money 99% of the time encourages people to gamble, quite the opposite.

Thanks for answering Stop. Believe me it was not me who lost the money. I was having a few bets on the greyhounds. I noticed a guy with £400 in the fobt. He might have won initially but he lost all that, went back to the counter to load up more with his card numerous times then finally gave in. Somebody else jumped on thinking they were on a winner and did £600 and was moaning no feature. I was half tempted myself but I no longer take out my bank card to bookies for that very reason, you could end up losing thousands but the point of the story is how evil they still are. No wonder Ladbrokes are keeping most of their shops open. It just takes one of these a week to cover all their costs and the rest is pure profit.

I made a comment on one of your video's SAS and you removed it.  I was just curious you cannot do all this for the goodness of your heart, somebody must be paying you well so is it the bookies, or the online casino's as a affiliate ?

Mentholdan. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that about Nickslots. There's some really nasty people out there that want to get rich so long as it brings misery to others. For me fobts and online slots are gambling heroin. At least the gambling commission has put the breaks on that feature buying, that looked dangerous...could see people losing tens of thousands or basically their life savings in a evening

The videos are subsidised by the ads, it makes no difference where I play other than whether I can film or not. There are very rarely videos from Ladbrokes for that very reason, they often don't let me film. The same with Paddy Power and Betfred, the shops near me don't let me film.

I record and upload every time I gamble, sometimes they will be good wins, other times losses. I'll get streaks in either direction, but I limit this by not playing roulette or premium play ultra spins.

The shop had 1 cashier and 3 punters me included. She was emptying a fobt when it went faulty. The shop was very small and quiet. You could clearly hear her say that is the quickest anybody has come out to fix the machines ie half an hour.

There was around 480 when I glanced over, guy lost that, he then went back 4 times and reloaded 200 clips and lost that. The next person lost 600, in incredible speed. I could not believe the speed the money was being lost.

I used to like playing them now and again but since the drop to £2 reduction I truly believe the %'s advertised to be false or misleading

The thought that the percentage is false or misleading has briefly often crossed my mind (especially after playing Eye Of Horus!) however in the clear light of day I very much doubt it is, especially with the amount of scrutiny the gambling industry is under. Can you imagine if the slots were advertising at 90% RTP when in fact they were 70%? It’d be the PPI scandal mark II!
The example you witnessed seems a statistical improbability, yet not an impossibility. But saying that, even with a 90% RTP, coming away with any kind of profit would be a statistical improbability...!

I always thought it was a con though Blindhaze. That it would come out in years to come but by then nobody could prove they lost all that money illegally and thus not claim it back unlike

the PPI.

"This machines is random" ...yet in a feature of 15 boxes one of which contains £500 I never once picked it after hundreds of tries.

That line is also the biggest con in gambling, if everything was random they would not be making billions a year from it.

I’m pretty sure that the slots are random, or at least as random as humans can program a machine’s RNG to be. The best way to describe any casino game that involves chance is one that is “random, but not fair” - statistically speaking.

Take roulette for example. Assuming an unbiased wheel, each number is equally likely to be landed on. This means that a spin of the wheel is a random event. However, roulette is not a statistically fair bet. For a game to be fair, it must have a RTP of exactly 100%. We all know that the RTP of roulette is 97.3%. The gambling establishment makes £2.70 for every £100 staked over the long term.

For slots, it’s the same concept. Though one major difference is that the player does not know all the possible outcomes in a given slot machine. In roulette, there are 37 possible outcomes (0-36). A slot can theoretically have hundreds... per reel! Slot manufacturers have a lot of flexibility when it comes to making their games. They can adjust the number of winning and losing combinations until they get their desired RTP percentage.

As for the £400 and £600 losses previously mentioned, many slots today have ridiculously high volatility. Lots of losing spins for the chance at a few jackpot-sized wins. Of course there needs to be some volatility, otherwise the game would get boring.

Imagine a machine with zero volatility and a RTP of 100%. It exists. It’s called a “change machine.” Insert a £5 note, receive five £1 coins. But hey! At least you’re even for the session! 😂

To be fair Darren doesn't promote chasing on FOBT's, his max loss is about £400, since the old roulette days. Even his online stuff is mild, he could really up the stakes, hype and get more signups but that doesn't seem to be his way. Well maybe he wants more people to go to the bingo hall.

As for dodgy machines, 7 Neighbours and Trono have highlighted the perils of motorway services slots, without being sponsored to do so. Most people have no business putting a grand in a machine unless they are laundering cash, go to a proper casino if you want to bet like that.
