no offence man but your assuming the glitch made it easier to win for everybody , that cant be the case as they would be down tens of millions , when that game was spewing its guts it must have been altering the rtp for everybody else , more than likely  on the lower end of the scale for us mere mortals

That's because there is no way it can make the odds worse for punters when premium/bonus/super/whatever term you want to give them cards remain in your hand indefinitely and more premium cards are added to the deck when they shouldn't be.

You'd expect the court to look at some key points;

When did they realise there was a fault with the game and how did they respond? Did they contact Playtec? Did they contact all other players that were impacted? What is the normal procedure for "software glitches"?

I think the guy has made a good choice, he's exposed that Betfred (and probably a lot of other online casinos) don't really keep a full log of glitches and when they do happen they will only inform you if it benefits themselves.  Imagine if he had been playing for an hour and the jackpot cards were being removed from the deck and he lost 5k chasing his loses. Would Betfred have spotted it and contacted him for a refund?

I don't think he will win, I'd give him odds of about 10/1, still 60k on a 10/1 shot doesn't pay 1.7 million 😜

im just thinking ,  about a year ago i was getting it up the teeth playing king kong cash on 40 p stake , i gambled to the 2nd highest feature and when it was over i got a grand total win of  0.48 pence , was that a glitch ? i remember thinking how the fuck can that happen ? you see it all the time , bonuses that pay 1x , 2x etc , are these glitches ? or is it the simple fact that we arnt allowed to win 🙂

It’s certainly not the first time and not just on gaming wins... Just ask Barney Curley...

Also, just as an interesting aside, did you know it was Fred Done who invented the Lucky 15,31,63 bet?

Tells you all you need to know about who that bet benefits!

Ladbrokes still offer this bet. Nuts bet, along with the likes of Luck 7 bingo!!

singles are the way to go on the horses.... Bookies hate single bets.

Invented in what way? Yankees have been around longer than Done has been in the game, surely?

He invented the Lucky 15 bet, not sure what you don’t get about that? The lucky 15 first appeared in Done bookmakers in 1984.

The Yankee is a completely different albeit similar bet.

Just a bit of useless trivia mate....

I've had some of my best wins with Lucky 15's, especially when Coral's used to offer 3x for one winner. I could nearly always hit one winner for money back. Nowadays a lot bookies have watered the bet down and some remove all bonuses if a football bet is included.

Betfair it appears are currently no more than a Yankee with 4 singles. They are very evasive with info.

Betfred still offer 3x one winner but no BOG for selections and all correct 10% bonus only on profit.

Skybet 2x one winner but no BOG for selections and all correct 10% bonus only on profit.

Bet365 2x for one winner but do offer BOG on selections and all correct 15% bonus all returns. It is just about the best around.
