just heard on the bbc sports news about yesterday’s 200/1 winner at the 4.10 race at newbury

No I didn't bet it. I did bet a few losers yesterday lol.

Maybe Cierin Fallon is trying to follow in his father's footsteps. A long way to go for that

The horse paid 97-1 on the tote so it was backed on course. Had you backed it on Betfair however it would have returned a massive 611-1. The winning distances were a head, a head, a short head and a short head. What does this tell us? The jockey is still an apprentice and can claim 3lb allowance "unless he's riding in an apprentice race" so his 3lb is literally worth it's weight in gold.

His father incidentally was a brilliant jockey but a complete arse hole, drink, drugs and allegedly took bribes to lose races. Let's hope his son has inherited only the good bits.

I think 250/1 is the highest

No longer the record (that was from a race at Kelso in the 90’s)

That record fell on Thursday 13 August at Leopardstown when He KnowsNo Fear got up on the line to beat the Evs favourite at 300/1.
