Hi all, just a question about slot games.

i used to play roulette quite a bit but since the £2 stake have moved to slots with a bit of success here and there.

that is until the last two weeks. 

Had a go on Well Well Well game in the premium play and within my first £20 won £380. Almost every day since I’ve done really well, I’m up over £3k, had two jackpots yesterday on £70. The guy on the machine next to me had done £300 on another slot game, switched to Well Well Well and in £30 he had left won over £300. Tonight just put £70 in and although I only had £12 left again won Jackpot.

is this just pure fluke or can the bookies make certain games pay out?

I think you just have good runs on some slots and bad runs on others. I remember Stop And Step used to always get a result (or at least a decent play) on Centurion. I may be wrong, but I don’t think he’s had a good result on there for a year or so. Yet you always regress to the good old times.... I never had much luck on Rainbow Riches so even now I don’t enjoy it, but it remains a firm favourite with some.

On that note, I relented with my much bemoaned Eye Of Horus and managed to get a result of sorts. £17 from a 20p stake is a good return after a run of sub £5 features with retriggers...

It's pure fluke, they can adjust the percentage, but usual that's downwards.

Yes, I went through a faze of winning nearly every single time for about 2 months! So much so that people were saying the videos were fake 😞 
That was about 3 years ago, then it just died on me and it's been rubbish for the last 3 years.

I understand the % pay out etc, what i've never been sure of is, is that by machine, by game, by shop, by county...... 

Just stuck me as odd that over numerous days and in different shops it was wins galore! Time to not get greedy, might change to 20p games for a while!

I think the % is decided by the company

for example I have seen same slot in Bet Fred and William Hill with 90% but in th Arcade same slot 93%

Same as the Casino Stop and Step the casino he went to was paying 90% but the same Game in the same one I went to was paying 94% across the board
