Hi guys, I would be interested on your views please.

I was playing on the game I mentioned yesterday "Mystic Wheel" on Paddy Power, got the feature, which is a wheel that spins with different sections of the wheel with different bonuses, eg. double all, 3 extra spins, x 10 on the multiplier and so on. I had 2 spins left and x 24 on the wheel when it hit "double all" which means I should have got up to 4 spins and x 48, but it did not register, it justconti ued with the last two spins and ended on x46, as I was playing a £1 stake I got £46.

I contacted PP customer services and explained the problem and to be fair they are looking in to it and will email me in about 24hrs.

My question is, I lost two extra spins which could have paid a huge pot or a small pot, who is to say? Also, those two spins could have landed on MORE EXTRA SPINS, who knows?

No one can say for sure what the final outcome would have been, who's to say I wouldn't hit a jackpot?

If you guys were me what sort of compensation would you be happy with???

Cheers guys.

If there's a fault, which there certainly appears to be, they should pay the average amount for those spins..Whatever that may be!

Let us know the outcome.

Don't hold you breath.as an ex employee of a betting shop I don't see you getting a big pay out. Sorry but I seen this situation so many times with games and rarely in favour of the punter

That's impossible, also bookies are closely monitored. I expect the 2x, which is another £46 PLUS COMPENSATION FOR THE TWO EXTRA SPINS AND POSSIBLE WINS AND EXTRA SPINS THEY MAY HAVE RESULTED IN.

I just have to stand my ground, I've told them if the result isn't acceptable I will terminate my account.

I recently had a similiar situation with Mecca Online, I lost £100 to a server error and the game did not resume, it took 2 weeks to be told I had to take the issue to IBAS and they would deal with it, but as for Mecca they offered me a big FAT 'Zero'. I would not hold out on getting anything!

My deposits to PP this month are a substantial 5 figure number,  I hope they see sense and do the right thing. I'm big on principles so as I said, if the outcome doesn't suit me I'll just close their account, it's their loss and the amount In question isn't fortunes. I'm not losing sleep over this but apart from the money and the principle of the situation, this should not have happened in the first place. I think software should be in place to at least reload the game 😁

What you deposit is irrelevant when it comes to game malfunction. I'm afraid bookies don't pay out on what ifs when it comes to Fobts. I mean what would you expect them to pay you

Bookies pay out the average for the bonus, but you might have to complain a lot to get it. The software companies would know the averages, so if you got the Road to Riches bonus and it crashed, the average might be £20 so they'd give you that.

Thinking about it though, out of the hundreds of times I've played bookies slots, it's incredibly rare that they crash or have software errors.

It wasn't a FOBT!!! It was Pady Power casino on line, I made a note of the time exactly when the error occurred, called them immediately, they were very helpful too. I'm ultra confidant of a happy outcome. Had I been streaming it myself I would have had video footage.

It paid £46 and it DID NOT GIVE ME THE DOUBLE ALL FEATURE, that means it should have doubled my winnings at the time and it should have doubled the amount of free spins I had left at the time, which was 2, up to 4.

The win potential could have been anything, I could have had 4 dead spins but on the other hand I could have hit 4 jackpots, both scenarios are unlikely but its a difficult thing to decide.

I know bookies are loathe to give any refunds so I'm betting they will offer me something like 50 x £1 frees pins on that game.

Watch this space.

I know, I just assume they will use the same format with errors. They'll probably use your player status too, so you might get some lucky Paddy Power pants too 😕

Hey Mentholdan,

I took a look at the slot in question - Mystic Wheel, by Red Tiger Gaming. I think I found the issue. Below is a screenshot of the help menu with the rules of the bonus round. According to the rules, it states that "DOUBLE ALL" simply doubles the multipliers shown on the wheel. It does not award double your current score or add double your remaining spins. To gain more spins, the wheel would have to land on "+X SPINS."

I'll continue to play the slot in demo mode to confirm my findings, as I have not triggered a bonus yet as I type this.
