Hi all,

I've been trying to withdrawn money from my casino joy account the last week and the account needs to be verified which I completely understand.

But I've sent then documents twice and still cant get my money. Any other casino that needed documents everything I submitted has been accepted elsewhere previously.

There customer service is shocking and cant even get them on the phone.

Any advice guys

keep phoning or emailing them and don’t give in hope you get your money 😢

It's crazy that online casino can be like this, never had an issue with any other one in my life to verify account.

Ya its €3000, so nice bit of money

Hope you got your winnings! It reminds me in the early days of online gambling I had a Stanleys(now merged with hills) account. I had deposited and played a few times, probably the sum of a few hundred quid. One day, I got a massive run on roulette and was up to approx 2-3K, tried to withdraw and boom hit the verification barrier. This was before I could drive and while my passport was away getting renewed.  Anyway in the time it took for my new passport to arrive to complete the verification I had spunked that money up the wall. Unfortunately it took me a few more years and a few ten thousand pounds to be turned off online for good!

I found out about this by accident, but some changes went into effect last month, I think it was on 6 May.

For the record, I’m not a UK resident, but as I understand, since 6 May - all online casinos licensed in the UK must obtain verification documents of UK residents before any deposits can happen.

I am going to assume Ken lives outside the UK since he’s being asked for documents after requesting a withdrawal. I could be wrong, of course.

Hope you get your money out soon! A passport and utility bill typically gets the job done with verification, at least in my experience.

In Proper casino you have to show ID if you are collecting more than 2k

Yes but in a proper casino you need to provide ID before you start losing too. Online providers are happy for you to lose before you need to prove who you are

I have read your post with interest.  I have now been waiting four weeks for a withdrawal request to be processed. Again verification documents were requested as they did  not accept the payment method.  That was fine but they have continually requested the same verification documents more than once,  I email them, I upload them and they then send another stalling email requesting again.   They took my deposits without any problems but they do not want to assist with paying out.

This is the first time I have had such a problem with an online slots company and the customer service is absolutely dreadful.  I am getting very frustrated and angry as they are totally unhelpful.  I would recommend people not to play on this site at all.  I have read that they had a previous licence withdrawn, not sure but would not be surprised.

Just very unhappy with the whole affair.

Are you withdrawing onto the same card that you paid with? In my new role at work, I’ve seen a lot of nervous casinos recently who would have a lot of trouble defending a chargeback if the withdrawal method is different.
