88 Fortunes

What a coincidence as I was playing it online at PP today. First of all, the cookie bowl can close at ANY Time, Ive had it close on the first spin, empty or full. The feature is three drums or a combo of drums and wilds on THE FIRST THREE REELS ONLY. The highest paying symbol is the golden dragon, the ships are the second highest. Online games start at 88p per spin and then multiples thereof?

Brian Christopher plays this game a lot in the American casinos. This is why I think it pays to watch as much online footage as possible, it's a good learning curve.

I did My conkers on today BTW.

I did like the look of the £6K pot on that one so I decided to find a casino near home and check out a bricks and mortar version as the last time I was in one was at 18 in the Palace Lido on the IOM watching Showaddywaddy... Anyway, living in the second largest county in the country you would think we would have a few to choose from but the sum total of venues available is NONE... Looks like a trip to Nottingham, Hull or Sheffield is on the cards.

On 88 Fortunes has anyone else noticed that during the pot feature (ie when cookie jar full) you always seem to choose 2 of each pot (grand, mini, manjor, minor) but finally end up with eithet mini or minor. I suppose it is predetermined as otherwise you would see the hight value pots being won more often?

In the bookies before the £2 limit I did win the Major twice

This week in the casino it was the classic two of each ( The Major was 4K) ended up with minor but at least it was £156

Pretty sure they're predetermined. I was watching Raja?? On YouTube the other evening and he got the bonus on the machine who's name escapes me at the moment, it's the one where the dollar notes light up and you get 3 gambles on it. Anyway he got the bonus and it just automatically hit the jackpot, $100.000. without him pushing the gamble button. Predetermined. It was good to see a major jackpot finally won.

One way to figure out  whether or not a picking feature is predetermined is to see if the machine shows you the location of the prizes that were not picked at the end of the bonus. In 88 Fortunes and a few others, you will notice that there is no reveal of where the other jackpots were located, which means it is predetermined.

On the contrary, a pick bonus such as the one on Super Jackpot Party does reveal the amounts unpicked at the end of the bonus, which means it does matter which prizes you select.

Yes that’s a good point I will keep a look out for that

when the machine says it’s random I think it’s only referring to the main play NOT the bonus pick
